ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

HP Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer for our Rogers, AR office.  This individual will provide Electrical Design services on a variety of commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in electrical design in the MEP field; applicants with fewer than 3 years of experience will be considered.  

Qualified applicants should be able to demonstrate success in the following skills and abilities: 

·         Understanding the design of lighting, receptacle, and data layouts based on building types

·         Knowledge of running photometrics with AGI32 or Visual

·         Knowledge of related building and electrical codes 

·         Knowledge of sustainable design practices

·         Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Experience in the use of Revit, AutoCAD and Design Master

Specific position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Technical design on assigned projects

·         Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, and for renovations/additions to existing facilities

·         Perform initial site investigations and observations of work done by the installing contractor(s) related to contracted projects

·         Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines

·         Maintain assigned project schedules

HP Engineering, Inc. is currently searching for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Student Interns for our Tulsa, OK location.  Candidates must be enrolled full time in either a Mechanical or Electrical engineering program, and be entering their Junior or Senior year of the program.  This internship is full-time summer employment.
