This mixed-use project in Fayetteville carved out a decidedly new living model by crafting a series of concise urban spaces that created a “pop-up” neighborhood within the 15-acre site.
The neighborhood plan leveraged the Razorback Greenway to create a street promenade that rewards pedestrian & bicycle use. The striking composition of material, form & color made this project a defining place, proving that our car-centric society can evolve.
Uptown Apartments + Shops elevated the architecture of the garden apartment model to create an anchor at the scale of the district & the city. HP Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & fire protection design services. Consulting to Modus Studio, our designers focused particularly on energy-efficient mechanical systems that met LEED gold requirements for multi-family outside air ventilation.
We also selected LED lighting fixtures & mechanical components that complement the development’s modern, clean aesthetic.
